AI Disclaimer

AI features in Cepe Paper may draft, edit, summarize, translate, suggest layouts, generate images, or answer questions based on text and context you provide. Availability, models, and usage limits depend on your plan and platform. You can use Cepe Paper without AI features. Activity Tracker and other team oversight features are separate from AI and are governed by our Terms, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.

AI outputs are for general productivity assistance only. They are not legal, medical, financial, tax, accounting, engineering, or other professional advice. Do not rely on AI for decisions that require licensed expertise. Always have qualified humans review outputs before you act on them or share them with others.

AI can produce incorrect, incomplete, outdated, biased, or fabricated information (“hallucinations”). We do not guarantee that outputs are accurate, unique, non-infringing, or suitable for your purpose. You are solely responsible for verifying facts, citations, calculations, code, and compliance before use.

When you use AI, the prompts, selections, and context you submit may be processed by Cepe and third-party AI providers to generate responses. Do not submit passwords, API keys, government IDs, full payment card numbers, or other sensitive personal data you do not want processed for this purpose.

Depending on configuration and plan, requests may be sent to third-party model providers. Those providers process data under their own terms and policies in addition to ours. Cepe is not responsible for third-party products or outages.

If you connect your own API key (where supported), you are responsible for that provider's terms, billing, and data handling. Keys you enter are stored locally on your device unless otherwise stated in-product.

Some AI settings may optionally store sanitized hints on your device to improve suggestions within a project or, if you enable it, across projects on that device. Memory does not share your files with other users. You can disable learning features and use strict privacy modes in AI settings.

Even with privacy controls, treat all project content as confidential and review outputs before sharing externally.

You may not use AI features to:

• Generate or distribute illegal, harmful, harassing, hateful, or deceptive content
• Impersonate individuals or organizations, or create non-consensual deepfakes or sexual content
• Circumvent usage limits, safety filters, or access controls
• Produce malware, exploitation material, or instructions for serious wrongdoing
• Violate intellectual property, privacy, or export-control laws
• Provide regulated professional services without qualified human oversight

You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to use AI-generated or AI-assisted content in your work, including commercial use, publication, and client deliverables. Laws on AI-generated works vary by jurisdiction; we do not provide legal opinions on ownership or infringement.

AI FEATURES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOUR USE OF AI IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cepe and its affiliates are not liable for damages arising from reliance on AI outputs, except as stated in our Terms of Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We may update AI models, features, and this disclaimer. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of AI features after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
